The customer journey is the path of interactions that customers have with your organization. It refers to all the touchpoints they encounter before, during, and after the buying process. This includes first hearing about your organization, their first time browsing the website, signing up for a free trial, getting post-purchase support, and everything in between (and after!).

Customer journey maps are visual representations of the customer journey. They demonstrate the path that different customer personas take through your customer experience, from the initial awareness stage all the way through to renewal or churn.
