Remote user testing is a usability testing method in which the participant and the researcher are not in the same physical space, such as an office or lab environment. In remote user testing, the participant completes the usability task set by the researcher in their own environment using their own device. Remote user testing enables researchers to research and test users from across the globe, without needing to connect in person.
