A session replay is a reconstructed presentation of how users interact with a website, app, product, or service. It captures actions like clicks, scrolls, taps, and navigation paths, creating a step-by-step recreation of the user journey.

Unlike heatmaps that show aggregated data, session replays let teams observe individual sessions to identify specific issues or pain points users encounter.
