Usability Testing
Share
Usability testing is a UX research method that involves observing how users complete a task in order to assess the usability and functionality of a product or feature. Usability tests can be moderated or unmoderated—with the former providing more opportunity to ask follow-up questions for deeper insights. Following usability testing, the success rate and paths taken by users—along with any qualitative data if running moderated usability tests—are analyzed to identify issues and areas for improvement.
