Visual hierarchy is a design principle that states that elements on a page or interface should be organized based on their importance. It helps structure content logically, ensuring users can easily find what they need and complete tasks, and guides user attention to influence perception and actions.
UX designers use size, color, contrast, and spacing to highlight certain design parts like buttons, headings, or calls-to-action, making them stand out from secondary elements.
