UX Research Glossary / User Flow

A user flow is a visual representation of the path a user takes while interacting with a product or feature. It outlines each step from the initial interaction to the completion of a specific task, like making a purchase or signing up for a service.
Different user flow types include task flows (focused on specific tasks) and wireflows (combining visual design and user actions), and general user flows (all-inclusive views of user journeys).
